Since its foundation, the Morawa Group has endeavoured to serve the distribution of book and press products. Its core task has been the provision and distribution of printed works in order to satisfy Austrian readers on a daily basis. We maintain business relationships with our partners, some of which have lasted for years, and with a highly qualified staff of 900 employees we are regarded as a trustworthy partner in a wide variety of corporate sectors.

The Morawa BSS supplies around 4,000 customers with press packages in the business sector and the Morawa Lesezirkel lends weekly reading kits collections to doctors’ surgeries, hairdressers, cafes and other service providers, recently also available as digital reading material via the app “Morawa Kiosk“.

Mohr Morawa has been operating as a book wholesaler for 130 years and serves around 600 publishers and supplies over 300 bookstores throughout Austria. In figures: Seven million books are available for delivery in the Vienna warehouse on a manipulation area of 22,300 m² with a hand shelf warehouse of 60,000 running metres.

The specialist for large-scale transport is the Morawa Berchtold Transporte division based in Innsbruck. With six transport centres and a fleet of 200 state-of-the-art trucks and transport vehicles, we guarantee a nationwide network throughout Austria, or, in other words: 490 tours and 25,000 stops a day, even far beyond the country’s borders, on request.

20 Morawa bookstores are at the heart of the company.
